ALREADY A DIVER?
Have you already learned the basics with BSAC, PADI, SAA, SSI or another agency, but want to continue your training and take your skills to the next level? Or do you just want to meet new people and go diving?
Many of our members join us after doing a basic course while on holiday, and wanting to advance to the next level. We have a very strong team of instructors, including several who teach at national level, so you know you’re in good hands.
If it’s been a while since you last dived, why not join us for one of our SCUBA refresher sessions? If you didn’t train with BSAC then no problem. We welcome members with qualifications from all major diving organisations.
WE WELCOME EXPERIENCED DIVERS
Are you already an experienced diver who is looking for a friendly, active, and economical diving club?
Some of our members have been diving for over 30 years, while others teach diving at a national level, so we are able to call on a vast bank of knowledge and experience. Members interests cover a wide range of subjects including marine biology, wrecks, technical diving, and underwater photography, snorkelling, open circuit, and rebreathers. Our active dive calendar, with diving planned all year round, ensures there are plenty of opportunities to get wet. If you are interested in teaching, then we are well equipped to encourage and mentor those wishing to pursue instructor qualifications.
We own and operate two RHIBs (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) which we use across the UK.
If you didn’t train with BSAC then no problem. We welcome members with qualifications from all major diving organisations.
While we always welcome new members, we are more than happy for you to dive with us as an occasional guest. Please contact us and let us know your experience, qualifications and what sort of diving you would like to do.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT COURSES
Skill Development Courses (SDCs)
As well as the core diver grade qualifications Vale Royal also runs many of the Skill Development Courses (SDCs) that are offered by the BSAC. SDCs are an excellent way of expanding your understanding of the broader diving environment and the skills required to support diving operations.
Whether your interest is in wreck diving, small boat handling, rescue, marine life or technical, there is an SDC to suit – many of which are run by Vale Royal.
These include Lifesaver, Boat Handling, Oxygen Administration, Search and Recovery, Nitrox and Chartwork and Position Fixing.
